- This article will show you how to properly use the Zapier integration once you’ve successfully connected the two.
- When you’re in Zapier, the first thing you’ll need to do is create a Zap. You can do this by selecting “create Zap” in the top left corner.
- Once you’ve created your Zap, you will be met with a screen that prompts you to input a trigger event and several other steps. In order to properly set up the Samplead connection, select the first trigger event.
- Once you’ve selected the first trigger event, search “Samplead” and select the Samplead tab.
- Under the required event for the Samplead connection, select the “New Prospect Pushed” option.
- Once you’ve done this, you are ready to connect Samplead to virtually any software via Zapier. Say for example you want to create a Google Sheet that will update with information every time a new prospect is pushed in Samplead. In order to do that, select the second step and type in Google Sheets.
- Once you’ve done this, make the event “Create Spreadsheet Row.” This tells Zapier to create a new spreadsheet row with your prospect’s information every time a new one is pushed via Samplead.
- Make sure your sheet is properly formatted with the correct headings. You will need to have the following headers:
- Profile link
- First name
- Last name
- Job title
- Company name
- Company headcount
- Company HQ
- Industry
- Badges
- Badges Links
- Phone
- Tailored Message
- Value Proposition
- Samplead ID
- Campaign ID
- Once you’ve done this, return to Samplead and from your dashboard, select your desired campaign. You can reach the campaigns page by pressing the briefcase icon on the left side.
- Once you’ve selected your campaign, go to the export tab on the right side and select the Zapier option from the dropdown menu.
- Once you’ve done this, you will have successfully set up your Zap and each time a new prospect is pushed to this campaign, their information will populate in your designated google sheet.
